After 13 years gathering experience in the residential and commercial real estate industries, Steven C. Goren founded Armada Real Estate and Investment Company in 1991. At the time, the U.S. was fighting in the Persian Gulf War and the name "Armada" was chosen to summon to mind the same inspiring notions of confidence, loyalty, strength and resolve, that many who followed the war at home may have felt as they learned of the "armada" of U.S. Naval ships standing guard off the coast of Kuwait. The rapidly growing firm initially focused on the retail sector of the commercial market. However, as Armada built a network of active and capable real estate buyers and developers, our scope of work was broadened to accommodate those individuals and companies who began to rely on Armada's professionals to service other commercial property types including office buildings, light industrial properties, mobile home parks, self storage and vacant land.
Today, Armada is a one stop, full service commercial firm representing developers, owners, investors and tenants in acquisitions, dispositions and leases throughout Michigan and across the country. Our clients range from major national corporations to individual investors and local business owners.
